The airport is connected to the nearby railway stations of Venice-Santa Lucia and Mestre-Venice by scheduled bus services. You can reach Venice Airport San Marco, very easy, with two bus line.

Bus connections from the Venice-Santa Lucia railway station to the airport (and viceversa)

If you arrive to Venice Santa-Lucia railway Station you'll have to go to the Piazziale Roma square. You can be there only in 10 minutes by foot crossing the Ponte degli Scalzi. You can use different lines according to the time you arrive.

Taxi is much more expensive. From airport to Piazzale Roma costs €24. There is a Taxi zone outside of each terminal.
Water Taxi costs €50 and leaves the airport each 5/10 minutes.
